STATUS: FULL-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE APRIL 2026)
WAGE RATE: $35.93 – $41.37
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, the Polysomnographic Technologist will perform polysomnographic sleep studies with patients who are experiencing a variety of sleep disorders. You will provide direct patient contact including describing the procedures, setting up the patient for the overnight study, addressing questions, resolving technical or equipment issues and monitoring the sleep study throughout the night shift. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance of sleep related equipment.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required:
- Graduate of a minimum 2 year community college program in a health related discipline
- Current registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
- Strong technical skills
- Current BCLS Certification
- Excellent patient teaching ability and customer service skills
- Excellent leadership, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in staff meetings, departmental and corporate projects
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced Computer skills
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work 10 hour night shifts, including weekends
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record

- Recent work experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist in a sleep clinic
