WAGE RATE: $37.071 – $38.157
Reporting to the Manager of Medicine, Owen Sound Site, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) works
collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary team to provide care to those patients with a stable and predictable outcome within the defined professional scope of practice as set out by the CNO.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Ontario College of Nurses registration
- Ability to work at full scope of practice
- Coronary Care 1 Course or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Excellent organizational and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare
professionals - Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Participation in quality improvement initiatives on the unit - Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
