Service Delivery
We have an opening for one full-time General Surgeon to join our team. Specialists provide on-call support, in-patient surgical services and outpatient consultations and follow-up to a wide catchment area of over 170,000 residents and more than 2 million short-stay visitors each year.
Operating Room time is based at the Owen Sound hospital as part of the Division of General Surgery, shared equally amongst the group.
The On-Call distribution aims to be 1 in 6.

With annual ER volumes of over 90,000 visits across Brightshores hospitals, 24-hour labs, excellent specialty back-up, and comprehensive diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, PACS capability, video-EEG), our modern facilities are very well equipped.
Qualifications
Interested candidates will ideally hold applicable FRCPC designation and an independent license to practice in Ontario.
Compensation
Ministry of Health On-Call Coverage (HOCC) Program and Fee-for-Service Billings.
